The Peace of the Lord be always with you and your entire household. Amen.
Jesus promised us in Matthew 24:22, “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.”
Almighty and everlasting God, You have given us Your servants, grace by the confession of true faith to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of the Divine Majesty to worship the undivided Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith, that we may evermore be defended from all adversities, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever. Amen.
Dear Brethren,
Trinity Greetings to you and every single member of your family, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
It is a blessing, a rare privilege to see the beginning of the most extended season in the Church year calendar, Trinity. 1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” This season takes us to the end of the Church Year and ushers the Church into its new year on Advent Sunday. It is a blessing to continue our journey of faith with our Lord Jesus Christ leading the way.
Many of you have been through various experiences, both good and bad. Your faith in Christ has been challenged in many ways. You have been tried and tempted by the devil. You have been exposed to various teachings of apostasy, but by God’s grace, you resisted the devil and his cunning words. We have prayed for the sick among you and see them healed by the power of God. We have counseled couples and young people going through inevitable challenges of this life and see them revamp from their mistakes to a life of victory in Christ. We have equally prayed and identified with some of you who bade farewell to their lovely departed. And we have been there to celebrate with many of you who had reasons to invite others to join you in counting your blessings. In many ways, God has been so good to us. God has been there for us.
The post-communion sentence for the Trinity Sunday reads, “You are the children of God; so, God has sent the Spirit of His Son into your hearts; to make you cry out, Abba Father” (Galatians 4:6). As we return to reclaim the streets, the cities, public buildings, and all public places, we pray that the Lord will keep you and all your family members safe. We pray that the Holy Spirit will never depart from you. And that you will guard your life through obedience to his word (Prov. 13:3). And we pray that you will hunger for righteousness and grow in the faith of Christ. Brethren, we cannot wait to see you all at different higher levels, with testimonies and thanksgiving to God for all His benevolence.
Finally, let us pray the second paragraph the collect for Trinity Sunday, Almighty and eternal God, You have revealed yourself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and live and reign in the perfect unity of love. Hold us firm in this faith, that we may know You in all Your ways and evermore rejoice in Your eternal glory, who are Three Persons in One God, now and forever. Amen.
